قال مصدران عراقيان، إن وزير الخارجية السوري أسعد الشيباني سيتوجه إلى بغداد اليوم السبت في أول زيارة رسمية للبلاد.
ولم يقابل العراق الإدارة السورية الجديدة بالانفتاح الذي لاقته من بقية الدول العربية.
وحتى الآن لم تقم بغداد بتهنئة أحمد الشرع بتوليه رئاسة المرحلة الانتقالية في 29 يناير الماضي.
والشرع، المولود في الرياض، نشأ وترعرع في دمشق ثم توجه إلى العراق في 2003 وأصبح جزءا من تنظيم القاعدة الذي كان يقوده آنذاك أبو مصعب الزرقاوي.
واعتقل الشرع في سجن أمريكي في العراق لمدة 6 سنوات، وبعد خروجه عاد إلى سوريا، حيث أسس في عام 2011 “جبهة النصرة”، بدعم من تنظيم الدولة الإسلامية في العراق، الذي أصبح لاحقًا تنظيم داعش بقيادة أبو بكر البغدادي.
وفي عام 2013، انفصل عن داعش وبايع زعيم القاعدة أيمن الظواهري، قبل أن يعلن فك ارتباطه بالقاعدة، ليغير اسم تنظيمه إلى “هيئة تحرير الشام”، التي أحكمت قبضتها على محافظة إدلب قبل أن تكون القوة التي أسقطت بشار الأسد في ديسمبر الماضي.
وكانت وزارة الخارجية الأميركية قد أدرجت الشرع على قائمة “الإرهابيين الدوليين” في عام 2013، وبعدها بأربع سنوات أعلنت مكافأة بقيمة 10 ملايين دولار لمن يدلي بمعلومات تؤدي إلى القبض عليه، وتم إلغاء هذه المكافأة في ديسمبر 2024.
